All Over the Map family travel planning services helps you plan your next adventure.

Travel Planner Paige Conner Totaro

Paige Conner Totaro is a freelance writer focusing on food, culture, and family experiential travel. Her website, All Over the Map, began as a travel journal when she took an 11-month trip around the world with her husband and twin daughters, visiting 28 countries along the way. She now helps others plan great vacations as a travel planner at All Over the Map Travel, and tour organizer at Unquote Travel.

Paige was a founder of Unquote Travel and Misra Records, a founding board member of Transformer in Washington, DC, and a longtime board member and director of Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts.

Paige is a fan of Scandinavian design, Ethiopian food, Canadian hospitality, Japanese vintage stores, Brazilian music and Thai beaches, but also American craft beer, garage rock and roller derby. There’s a reason her media company is called All Over the Map.

Paige is a member of the Family Travel Association and the North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA), and her work has appeared on the Huffington Post, SAVacations, Hostelworld, Hipmunk, and several top family travel blogs, including TravelMamas, where she is a regular contributor. She is a top 3% influencer on TripAdvisor, and a top 10% influencer according to Klout, and her family travel blog, All Over the Map, is consistently among the top travel blogs as measured by Rise/Global.

Co-founder Veronique Autphenne was raised on three continents and has had a passion for travel ever since she can remember.  She has always preferred traveling “off the beaten path,” and while her travel plans have changed slightly since she became the mother of three boys, she has found that traveling with children can be just as rewarding and enriching and is always an adventure. Vero now offers travel planning services through her own company, Pax Travel Design.

  3. LOVE this site!! It’s so much fun to find like-minded families! We’re in year four of an open ended world tour with our kids… cycling, driving, walking, by boat… whatever… moving slow, going deep, learning together! It’ll be great to keep up with your adventures too!

  4. Hello Paige & Veronique,

We’ve just recently discovered your blog and think it’s great! We love walkabouts that help us explore our world in both big and small ways. There is so much to experience!

Our site, WalkaboutChronicles.com, is about the sharing of the journeys people take in their lives whether they be adventures of the highway, creative journeys, or tales of personal growth. Through this type of sharing, our readers are finding inspiration and connection.

We would like to share your journey with our readers, and in the process, bring more readership to your own site. To see how we are making this happen, we invite you to visit our project to see how other bloggers are delivering their messages.

We look forward to hearing from you!

    Have a great day!

  7. Hello! My partner, Kelly, and I are friends with Shannon and have loved reading about your travels! We have been living in Taiwan for the past 3ish years exploring, getting lost, and teaching English. I noticed you are planning to come to our side of the world in May. Taiwan is a short flight from HK and we’d love to share our love for this beautiful country with your family! Enjoy your experience and let us know if you’re in town for a visit! -Sara

  8. Ladies
This is such a great blog! Verona I met you briefly at the DC Travel & Adventure show. I was at the Maine booth representing the Maine Office of Tourism. I enjoyed reading about your experiences in the Bar Harbor area and your stop at Atlantic Brewing. Its partner restaurant Mainely Meat is one of our regular stops.

I’m a photographer and writer working in tourism raising a daughter and two Maine Coon cats with my husband near Bangor Maine. I’d love to offer some ideas about some quirky family side trips for your next Maine vacation.

Thanks for giving me your card and introducing me to your great blog.
